Pocket Moon is a doodled lunar almanac. Tonight's moon phase and illumination, the next four phase changes, and three cozy themes are free forever. One small purchase unlocks moonrise and moonset times with compass arrows, tide schedules for US coasts, phase notifications, and widgets.

Common questions

My purchase didn't come back on a new phone.
Open Settings inside the app (the gear in the top corner) and tap Restore Purchases. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account, so it travels with you at no extra charge.

Why don't I see tides near me?
Tide predictions come from NOAA, which covers US coasts, the Great Lakes, and US territories. If you're more than about 50 miles from the nearest station, the app offers station search instead, so you can follow a coast you love from anywhere.

The compass arrows seem off.
Wave your phone in a figure eight to recalibrate the compass, and keep it away from magnets (yes, snap-on wallets count).

Notifications aren't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Pocket Moon in iOS Settings, then pick your preference inside the app: every phase, just new and full, or peaceful silence.
